Welcome to Bangkok! This is the last part of our couple’s trip to Thailand.
Date: December 2018.
Bangkok is a big, special, bustling and vibrant city,
It’s usually arrive at the beginning or end of the trip to Thailand.

We completed our trip on two nights in Bangkok, at the:
Centara Watergate Pavillion

The room in the hotel was very nice and clean

The rooftop of the hotel has a bar and can be viewed from there in
Bangkok city and its skyscrapers.
The look is very nice, but I would not return to this hotel again
Because I did not like the location of the hotel, the entrance to
the hotel is strange and I prefer the Lit Hotel,
near Mbk and other malls,
We were there on our previous trip and it was excellent.

We celebrated in Bangkok two days away from Chanukah holiday,
so every evening we lit a Chanukah candle at ‘Chabad’
and we also had a kosher dinner there.

Every evening at Chabad House, delicious donuts were distributed
to those who arrived during Chanukah.
In Bangkok, we toured the cafes, malls and markets,
We have been to places we have already visited before and also in new places.

In this post I did not write as usual – what we did every day,
but I’ve concentrated on a variety of recommendations and
suggestions for various places of entertainment in Bangkok
and there’s a lot to do there.
Places to visit in the Bangkok area:
Samut Prakan District – Bordered by Bangkok in the south and east.
Apart from the Bangkok airport located in this district,
there are many different attractions in the district suitable for all ages,
for example:
Erawan Museum, the 3-headed elephant,
Old Town (Muang Boran Samut Prakan),
Crocodile Farm and Zoo,
Bang Nampeung Floating Market,
Gull Beach (Bang Poo) and more
Victory Monument:
Great area for shopping, relaxing in a stunning park, walking around
and overall great area.
Siam square –
Shopping area is adjacent to malls but in open place, full of boutiques
and restaurants.
Particularly worth a visit, even with a nice park, Hello Kitty’s store,
It has great makeup stores called Eve & Boy, there are two such stores
in this area.
Also look for the Daiso store. This shop is worth a visit, everything from Japan.
Chocolate Ville Complex –
Restaurant, lakes and cuddly corners. Also worth a visit!
You should be there before and after it gets dark.
Address: , Soi Nawamin 74, Yak 3-8, Kaset-Nawamin Road
Klong Kum Subdistrict,
, Bueng Kum District,
Bangkok 10230, Thailand
Samut Prakan Old Town Area –
a bit outside of Bangkok but really close, amazing and stunning place (I wasn’t there yet).
* Ratchada area – Interesting area, suitable for visiting in the afternoon.
It is worth a visit to Esplanade Mall.
The mall has a 3D family museum for the whole family – art in paradise.
Behind the mall there is a night market, a variety of food and lots of shopping,
good atmosphere and bars around the market.
Address: 99Ratchadaphisek Rd, Khwaeng Din Daeng, Khet Din Daeng
Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400, Thailand
Chang Tsui Plane Market –
A small night market whose main concept is recycled materials.
In the market itself you can find art details, food stalls, local designer shops,
bars and bands that appear on the main stages.
In the center of the market is a real aircraft that serves as a backdrop.
The market is located about a half hour drive from downtown Bangkok
and is open Monday to Friday (not including Wednesday)
16:00-23: 00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 11pm
you should check the latest opening times before arriving.
Special Restaurants in Bangkok:
Thipsamai –
Here you will find the famous Thai Pad (Noodle Pop) in Thailand,
What’s special here? Here the dish is served wrapped in egg.
It’s best to arrive sometime before the opening around 5 p.m.,
Because a long queue was formed at the entrance to the restaurant.
Address: , Maha Chai Rd, Khwaeng Samran Rat
Khet Phra Nakhon,
Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10200
The restaurant is a 15-minute walk from Kawasan Street or a 7-minute drive.
If you are in the area you should go and taste.
shabushi – Eat sushi and fried as much as you can from moving plates on a conveyor belt.
You take what you need, including ice cream, fruit and drink.
Dose cost: Approximately 400 baht per person, according to a limited time of one and a quarter.
Address: Mbk Center 3nd Floor, Zone a, Bangkok, Thailand

After You Dessert Cafe Bangkok
A chain of cafes and desserts located in the cities of Bangkok, Patia and Chang Mai.
Instead, treat yourself to a variety of flavored crab cakes, cheesecakes, milkshakes,
Kakiguri (famous Japanese dessert), toast Ferrero Rocha plus ice cream and more.
Please note: You will usually have to wait about half an hour to get in.
swensen’s – an ice cream restaurant that we love very much!

The dishes are beautiful and come to your table just as they look in
their colorful and stimulating catalog.
This time we were modest in what we ordered

Caturday Cat Cafe –

Lovely cafe, recommended for cat lovers but not only.
Located within walking distance of the center of the major malls.
Changing atmosphere from the shopping and the (good) mess of Bangkok.
A very nice attraction for kids and adults!
Address: Co-Co Walk Plaza, Phaya Thai Rd. Ratchathewi,
Bangkok 10400, Thailand.

Bangkok’s Siberian Husky cafe – this time it’s dogs,
This is a private home which is also a cafe place, which holds about 34
dogs in its backyard,
To sit there you have to pay 350 baht per person (including coffee and drinks).
At 13:00 and 16:00 the dogs go out to play.
Photos and videos on the site
Address: 153 Paholyothin Soi Ari Samphan 2, Bangkok, Thailand
* Some of the 7/11 stores have a slurpee machine that you should buy and taste!
Unicorn Cafe – The place is decorated in the spirit of the theme,
the dishes are nice and the place is beautifully Especially for pictures!
Tip: There is a taxi problem back to the center of Bangkok and in the
rush hours are unpleasant,
Tuktuk prices in a uniform area, it is recommended to go
out there on the main road to get a tuktuk.
Address: Soi Sathorn 8, Bangkok, Thailand.
More places worth checking out:
Shopping Malls (full), Wat Phu Temple, Ark Temple, Jim Thomson House,
Dream World, The Aquarium, The Safari World, Racheda Night Market,
Kawasan Street, Hello Kitty Cafe.
We return home tired and satisfied on El Al night flight.
