Do you Believe in luck (zodiac)?

So I’m Libra, and what characterizes Libra mainly is the difficulty of deciding.

Every decision is casually placed on the scales and weighed seriously

and judiciously.

When I have to choose something or buy something, I usually look at

the product in all directions,

I consult with people who understand the field and have an experience,

look for the opinions, reviews, and recommendations of others,

and only after I check everything I make the best decision for me.

And when I make the decision I will usually be quiet and calm,

but until I reach there – the road is not so easy.

But when it comes to deciding whether to fly to Thailand, it is a wonder,

something happened here, the scales did not come into the picture

and I didn’t have to think much to decide.

As soon as my agent informed me that there was an operation at El Al airline,

I did not think twice, I acted completely from the heart and booked two

tickets!

But I didn’t spare myself the questions later:

What did I think?

How did I do this without thinking?

I could get a cheaper price on non-direct flights .. and on and on…

But the heart said its. Flying to Thailand! We return to Thailand!

and this time I don’t have too much time for planning the trip.

I’ll save you the considerations and calculations of where to go in Thailand,

but what guided me was:

reaching mostly places we haven’t visited in our previous times there.

So the plan is:

a continuation flight from Bangkok to Chang Mai

(where we were for the first time in Thailand) and from there to Pai town.

After visit Pai we will be back for a night in Chang Mai and the next day we will

fly to Phuket (it would have been better to fly to Krabi but it did not work out

with hours and flight prices).

From Phuket we will take a ferry to Ko Phi Phi and after a few nights there we

will take the ferry to Krabi.

From Krabi towards the end of our trip, we will return on a flight to

Bangkok where we will spend two nights and fly back home on a

late-night flight.

The plan is ready, the hotels have been booked, and now only the

natural excitement and concerns remain before our flight,

When the children stay home in school with other adults who look after them.

I will write all of our trip details on the blog when we come back,

in several sections, so that the post will not be too long.

In the meantime, I invite you to follow my Facebook and Instagram trip

in real time.

Follow me, it will be heaven!

Ko Phi Phi –

For many years now I have wanted to get to Ko Phi Phi,

to see with my own eyes what everyone is talking about.

What is this magical and picturesque island?

Ko Phi Phi is a small and popular island in Thailand,

(Although Phi writes the name with a bold P., like Pi)

The island became famous following the film “The Beach” starring

Leonardo Di Caprio, filmed on one of its beaches.

The Ko Phi Phi can only be reached by sea on ferries leaving Phuket,

Krabi, and Colanta.

Ko phi phi Island is located not far from Krabi and Phuket Island

and usually incorporates it on a trip to these places.

When you reach the Ko phi phi, take the ferry to the Tonsai pier and from

there also leave the island.

Apart from the “back belly” and the four islands and the like,

the main activity here is diving in the blue water.

There are several beaches you can spend in Ko phi phi, some close

to the main village

And some are a short cruise away with a longtail boat that can be rented

at the main dock.

* Want to rent a Long Tile boat? It is worthwhile to summarize with the

sailor a pick-up time back from the shore and pay it at the end.

Some beaches are packed with tourists and some are secluded.

Monkey Beach –

An interesting and special beach thanks to the dozens of monkeys found

in their natural habitat.

You can get there by boat for a few minutes from the pier.

* It is worthwhile to get to the monkey beach at low tide because the

beach tide is flooded with water.

* It is very important to take precautions with the monkeys: it is

advisable not to approach them too closely

And of course not to touch them, in case of a bite or scratch you should

get a rabies vaccine.

Also, keep your belongings safe because the monkeys may kidnap you.

What else can you do in Ko phi phi?

You will reach an amazing View Point that you should not miss,

From the vantage point, you will watch a spectacular view of

the island of Kho Phi Phi Don, you will see the two bays on the island,

look at the village, the white beaches, and the high cliffs.

There are 2 more vantage points on the way to this point, all numbered.

Take a map of any travel agency on the island and you can easily

find the vantage points.

On the way from the second point to the third, you will see a beautiful view

and pass through a small village.

* It is advisable to go up to the vantage points before sunset but it is

not advisable to return in the dark.

The time it takes to walk back and forth is about two and a half hours.

To get to the very high observation point, which is very high, you have to

climb a lot of stairs followed by a steep uphill walk.

How to get to the central and high observation?

At the end of the staircase there is a split to the right and to the left,

turn left.

(Turning right will take you to a low vantage point and Rantee beach).

* It is very useful to get enough water for you.

You have arrived! Sit on the big rocks overlooking the village and the bay,

be proud of yourself!

And breathe in the beautiful look in front of you.

Don’t forget to take pictures.

Nightlife in Ko phi phi -

At Dolom Beach on the north side of the village, you will find

restaurants, parties, bars, and fire shows,

Just take a tour of this little island and see what it has to offer you.

When we got to Ko Phi Phi we got off the ferry and were asked to

pay 20 baht per person for local taxes.

when you will descend from the ferry you will see dozens of cruise ships

that will offer you a cruise to your hotel (if needed).

Our hotel Harbor Harbor View Hotel is a 2-minute walk from the pier

So, of course, we didn’t need a cruise.

We walked from the pier to the hotel, checked in and got our cute room.

The hotel is nice and clean, well located by the beach, it has a very nice pool.

It is recommended to take a room with pool access!

There is a tidal phenomenon on the beach, it’s amazing to see it

But it also sucks if you get into the water precisely during low tide.

At low tide we saw a group of girls digging in the sand,

We were interested in what they were doing and realized that they

were taking advantage of the lows to collect oysters for eating.

We did a tour of the hotel area and looked for a place to eat.

Most restaurants adjacent to the hotel are relatively expensive,

To find a restaurant with reasonable prices you have to stay away from the hotel,

But this whole island is not big so it’s not far.

We had no power to find where to eat so we sat in the hotel restaurant

and had lunch there.

After a short rest, we set out to explore the island and wandered by the beach

and then between the various booths and restaurants,

We saw fire-shows and entertainment venues with lots of young people

and full of places where tattoos are done.

At night we sat in a fish restaurant and had a fish dinner,

We traveled among the various bars,

We ate delicious and unique coconut ice cream

And we went back to the hotel to sleep.

The next day after having breakfast at the hotel restaurant,

We spent some time in the pool and at sea, at noon we checked out

and we went to the dock for our next hotel cruise

(On his shirt is the name of the hotel) and our names appeared on his list.

We boarded Long Tile and headed to our next hotel

Phi Phi Island Village Beach.

On the way, we saw beautiful and secluded magical beaches.

We arrived at our amazing hotel for the next two nights, all here

on several levels above ..

We were welcomed with a warm, fragrant towel with refreshments,

a cold drink and a cookie.

We waited a bit in the seafront lobby, got a voucher for a light lunch as a gift,

We also got beach towels and we could swim in the pool until our room

was ready,

The hotel has two stunning pools by the sea.

And when the room was ready they drove us to it with Golf Car.

Perfect place for a quiet and pleasant vacation.

Near the hotel there is a tiny village with a few places to do a massage,

a hairdresser and some restaurants,

There you can eat cheaply if you do not want to pay for extra meals at

the hotel.

A cute boy who lives in a village close to the hotel

There is a special bar full of color, notes and pages that critics have

written about. See for yourself:

We took a tour there, you can also reach the vantage points and other beaches:

We did not go far beyond the restaurants and the village next to the hotel.

We saw all the amazing views around us

(both in the previous hotel and now) through our skimmer camera:

It was a full two days of rest in a good hotel and a magical view.

Let the pictures speak for themselves…

Two nights later, we returned in the Long Tile boat to the dock and from

there we took a ferry to Krabi.

The way from the hotel to the Long-Tile boat was “in the sea on land”,

because it was low tide,

It was an experience in itself to get to the boat like that but I would gladly

give it up.

So far this part of Kho Phi Phi on our trip,

From here we proceeded to Krabi

Welcome to Bangkok! This is the last part of our couple’s trip to Thailand.

Date: December 2018.

Bangkok is a big, special, bustling and vibrant city,

It’s usually arrive at the beginning or end of the trip to Thailand.

We completed our trip on two nights in Bangkok, at the:

Centara Watergate Pavillion

The room in the hotel was very nice and clean

The rooftop of the hotel has a bar and can be viewed from there in

Bangkok city and its skyscrapers.

The look is very nice, but I would not return to this hotel again

Because I did not like the location of the hotel, the entrance to

the hotel is strange and I prefer the Lit Hotel,

near Mbk and other malls,

We were there on our previous trip and it was excellent.

A night market located near our hotel

We celebrated in Bangkok two days away from Chanukah holiday,

so every evening we lit a Chanukah candle at ‘Chabad’

and we also had a kosher dinner there.

Every evening at Chabad House, delicious donuts were distributed

to those who arrived during Chanukah.

In Bangkok, we toured the cafes, malls and markets,

We have been to places we have already visited before and also in new places.

In this post I did not write as usual – what we did every day,

but I’ve concentrated on a variety of recommendations and

suggestions for various places of entertainment in Bangkok

and there’s a lot to do there.

Places to visit in the Bangkok area:

Samut Prakan District – Bordered by Bangkok in the south and east.

Apart from the Bangkok airport located in this district,

there are many different attractions in the district suitable for all ages,

for example:

Erawan Museum, the 3-headed elephant,

Old Town (Muang Boran Samut Prakan),

Crocodile Farm and Zoo,

Bang Nampeung Floating Market,

Gull Beach (Bang Poo) and more

site

Victory Monument:

Great area for shopping, relaxing in a stunning park, walking around

and overall great area.

Siam square

Shopping area is adjacent to malls but in open place, full of boutiques

and restaurants.

Particularly worth a visit, even with a nice park, Hello Kitty’s store,

It has great makeup stores called Eve & Boy, there are two such stores

in this area.

Also look for the Daiso store. This shop is worth a visit, everything from Japan.

Chocolate Ville Complex

Restaurant, lakes and cuddly corners. Also worth a visit!

You should be there before and after it gets dark.

Address: , Soi Nawamin 74, Yak 3-8, Kaset-Nawamin Road

Klong Kum Subdistrict,

, Bueng Kum District,

Bangkok 10230, Thailand

Samut Prakan Old Town Area

a bit outside of Bangkok but really close, amazing and stunning place (I wasn’t there yet).

* Ratchada area – Interesting area, suitable for visiting in the afternoon.

It is worth a visit to Esplanade Mall.

The mall has a 3D family museum for the whole family – art in paradise.

Behind the mall there is a night market, a variety of food and lots of shopping,

good atmosphere and bars around the market.

Address: 99Ratchadaphisek Rd, Khwaeng Din Daeng, Khet Din Daeng

Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10400, Thailand

Chang Tsui Plane Market

A small night market whose main concept is recycled materials.

In the market itself you can find art details, food stalls, local designer shops,

bars and bands that appear on the main stages.

In the center of the market is a real aircraft that serves as a backdrop.

The market is located about a half hour drive from downtown Bangkok

and is open Monday to Friday (not including Wednesday)

16:00-23: 00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 11pm

you should check the latest opening times before arriving.

Special Restaurants in Bangkok:

Thipsamai

Here you will find the famous Thai Pad (Noodle Pop) in Thailand,

What’s special here? Here the dish is served wrapped in egg.

It’s best to arrive sometime before the opening around 5 p.m.,

Because a long queue was formed at the entrance to the restaurant.

Address: , Maha Chai Rd, Khwaeng Samran Rat

Khet Phra Nakhon,

Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10200

The restaurant is a 15-minute walk from Kawasan Street or a 7-minute drive.

If you are in the area you should go and taste.

shabushi – Eat sushi and fried as much as you can from moving plates on a conveyor belt.

You take what you need, including ice cream, fruit and drink.

Dose cost: Approximately 400 baht per person, according to a limited time of one and a quarter.

Address: Mbk Center 3nd Floor, Zone a, Bangkok, Thailand

After You Dessert Cafe Bangkok

A chain of cafes and desserts located in the cities of Bangkok, Patia and Chang Mai.

Instead, treat yourself to a variety of flavored crab cakes, cheesecakes, milkshakes,

Kakiguri (famous Japanese dessert), toast Ferrero Rocha plus ice cream and more.

Please note: You will usually have to wait about half an hour to get in.

swensen’s – an ice cream restaurant that we love very much!

The dishes are beautiful and come to your table just as they look in

their colorful and stimulating catalog.

This time we were modest in what we ordered

Caturday Cat Cafe –

Lovely cafe, recommended for cat lovers but not only.

Located within walking distance of the center of the major malls.

Changing atmosphere from the shopping and the (good) mess of Bangkok.

A very nice attraction for kids and adults!

Address: Co-Co Walk Plaza, Phaya Thai Rd. Ratchathewi,

Bangkok 10400, Thailand.

Bangkok’s Siberian Husky cafe – this time it’s dogs,

This is a private home which is also a cafe place, which holds about 34

dogs in its backyard,

To sit there you have to pay 350 baht per person (including coffee and drinks).

At 13:00 and 16:00 the dogs go out to play.

Photos and videos on the site

Address: 153 Paholyothin Soi Ari Samphan 2, Bangkok, Thailand

* Some of the 7/11 stores have a slurpee machine that you should buy and taste!

Unicorn Cafe – The place is decorated in the spirit of the theme,

the dishes are nice and the place is beautifully Especially for pictures!

Tip: There is a taxi problem back to the center of Bangkok and in the

rush hours are unpleasant,

Tuktuk prices in a uniform area, it is recommended to go

out there on the main road to get a tuktuk.

Address: Soi Sathorn 8, Bangkok, Thailand.

More places worth checking out:

Shopping Malls (full), Wat Phu Temple, Ark Temple, Jim Thomson House,

Dream World, The Aquarium, The Safari World, Racheda Night Market,

Kawasan Street, Hello Kitty Cafe.

We return home tired and satisfied on El Al night flight.

Thailand, you are very accommodating! as usual.
